the scrambler published a piece by me // ♪ (●) ♫ ♪♪

the scrambler published my short story 'baby is going to die tonight.' Much thanks and gratitude to the editor Jeremy Spencer. Also in this issue, Ethel Rohan and Carrie Lorig.

I have recently sent out a new edit of my first manuscript you private person: stories. The word count is a little over 30,000.

I am currently working on a story titled LESLIE CHEUNG JUMPS OFF MY BUILDING CLOSES HIS EYES AND THEN SINGS A SONG WE BOTH KNOW AND LOVE.

The other day I sent Frances a text message that read Your mouth, of course, is a pictureless room in which an afternoon's gods get lost.

I am replaying ENTER THE VOID (2010) in my head when I am doing chores around the house and when I feed my cat. I pick up and put down the phone and remember things I have to do and live out, in between re-imagining scenes of transitioning bird eyed views of building tops. I do this for movies I like and don't like. I am going to write a double review for ENTER THE VOID and MDMA (20 JAN 2011) by Megan Boyle and Tao Lin, re the two viewing experiences and how they were similar.
